Day by Day – December 2007

Wednesday, December 19

RLS still there. Kinda strange. I heard something different today – a new remedy for Arthritis pain. In a cup, pour a half cup of white raisins and cover them to the top with gin. When the gin disintegrates the raisins, it’s ready. You’re supposed to take 1 teaspoon a day for the pain. I don’t know what to tell you except, I suppose it’s worth a try. And if anyone does, let us know what happens!

Wednesday, December 12

Two days in a row! Wow. Snowed last night. It’s beautiful but soooooooo cold. Feeling fair today but have a terrible headache. Probably not enough sleep! Today should be a slow day if all goes well. Here’s hoping to all going well!

Tuesday, December 11

A few nights ago I had RLS worse than ever. The days following, I could hardly walk without pain and sever stiffness. Anyone have any RLS stories to share? They’d benefit many!

Monday, December 3

I went to the doctor last week and he started me on the Nuepro patch. I like it in that I don’t have to remember to take the pill, but I almost forgot to put it on today. Memory… Can’t live with it – can’t live without it. The snow has come (18 inches) and gone within 48 hours and it’s a wild ride on the city streets. I am achy all over. But it’s a good day overall.

Sunday, December 2

It’s a dreary day but I am singing. Achy and very sluggish and tired. Feels like on the verge of depression but I’m not depressed. Am not behind on my meds – could just be the gloomy day, although the snowfall is absolutely beautiful, clean and pure. The dog is soaking it up for all it’s worth because when it’s cold, she comes in. She likes when it’s cold. Note to self: she needs her toenails manicured.

Journeying with you,

Sherri
